ESCape Holiday School - Summer 2018

Over at Yoxford and Peasenhall Primary School, the school was still buzzing 8am-6pm over the summer holidays with the ESCape Yox Valley Holiday School providing fun for children in the area whilst normal school was out.

The children tried their hand at activities in school such as Circus Skills, Street Dance, Baking, Archery, Survival Skills, Science and Air Rifle Shooting.  Twice a week, we would go on on adventures... this year we explored Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure,  BeWILDerwood, Banham Zoo and Pleasurewood Hills, and enjoyed  activities including skiing, tubing and horse riding.

Children from the surrounding areas joined us and are always most welcome. We are now busy planning for the Easter Holidays.  Please see www.consortiumacademy.co.uk for further details.  We hope to see you there!

In the meantime, take a moment to read some feedback from this summer’s holiday school provided by two younger attendees, Dani in Ash class and Evie in Oak class:

Tell me about holiday school, girls.

Dani: I went skiing.  I was so scared I was going to fall but there were two adults with me.  My foot slid but not all the way.  I was quite a way up and the man called Jordan put his foot out to stop me from falling.  I did dance academy too but my favourite day was Superheroes day.  We had to try and stop the goodies.  I was a villain.  Thomas and I, he's in year 3 now, won every game.

Evie: I went to holiday club.  I had a big water fight on Superheroes day.  We all got wet.  My best day was dance academy.

Would you recommend holiday club?

Dani: I'm not sure what recommend means, but people should come along - it's lots of fun.

Evie: It was really good.
